Fellowship

THE ARCHITECTURAL ATHLETE FELLOWSHIP

The experience of one generation can help shape the next.

The Architectural Athlete Fellowship is being developed as a global community of former athletes who want to contribute their experience to the intentional development of others through sport.

The Idea

Experience Should Not Retire

When an athlete leaves competition, their experience often leaves the system with them.

Years of competition.
Leadership.
Failure.
Recovery.
Transition.
Relationships.
Pressure.
Identity.

The Fellowship is being built to help ensure that experience can continue to serve others.

What Fellows Contribute

Experience can take many forms.

Fellows may contribute through:

Individual mentorship
Athlete conversations
Education and workshops
Research and insight
Leadership development
Transition support
Institutional partnerships

The Fellowship is not built around a single role. Former athletes bring different experiences, perspectives, and strengths. The opportunity is to create meaningful ways for those experiences to continue serving others.

Building the Founding Fellowship

The Founding Fellowship

We are currently bringing together former Olympians, professional athletes, and experienced elite competitors who recognise that their experience may still have value beyond their own careers.

The first Fellows will help shape what the Fellowship becomes.

The Future

Beyond the Individual Career

The Fellowship is being built around a simple belief:

Your experience does not have to end when your career does.

Over time, the Fellowship may create opportunities for experienced athletes to contribute through mentorship, education, research, conversation, and the development of future generations.

The intention is to preserve valuable lived experience and create pathways for it to continue moving forward.

Express Interest

Could Your Experience Help Someone Else?

If you are a former professional athlete, Olympian, or experienced elite competitor and would like to explore contributing to the Architectural Athlete Fellowship, we would like to hear from you.
